Open Mic Poetry – Big Wave Spoken Word

The Big Wave Spoken Word team is dedicated to promoting and celebrating Poetry and Spoken Word through monthly events and annual contests, providing poets and writers with an opportunity to share their work with the community. We invite you to join us for First Tuesday Open Mic at FRAA or on Zoom.  Visit Big Wave Spoken Word on Facebook for Zoom link.  We host this event each month, so check our website or Facebook for updated information.

• Come ride the words of your favorite poems, stories and prose!
• Everyone can participate (but isn’t mandatory). You can read from your own work, from the work of those you admire, or sing a song.
• Admission is free. You are always welcome.

Every last Tuesday of the month Big Wave Spoken Word hosts a Poetry Workshop that consist of a supportive group of local poets that gather monthly to read and discuss their original poetic work.
